Patient Advocacy Program

Patients deserve an advocate for every part of the recovery journey. The Keystone Billing Department knows how difficult it is just to make it through to recovery, let alone handle all the paperwork associated with treatment. 

To ensure your recovery process is a smooth one, our Patient Advocacy representatives will:

  • Advocate on your behalf with the insurance companies
  • Walk you through your Keystone statements and insurance EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
  • Locate documentation that may be missing if insurance denied the claim (and pursue it on your behalf)
  • Provide a sliding fee schedule for FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers)
  • Provide payment programs to help when account balances are overwhelming
  • Offer hardship reductions in case of job loss or a costly rehabilitation program
  • Offer cash pay rate if you are uninsured
  • Never turn anyone away for non-payment or missing payments

Standard Insurance Fee Rate – Established at a master fee schedule of  1.5 times the Medicare Fee Schedule

Self Pay Rate- Established for the uninsured patients

Patient Hardship Program – Established to offer assistance to patient’s who are having financial difficulties
